About Rachel

Born and raised in Brooklyn, founder and owner Rachel has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, working as a certified trainer, group fitness and Pilates mat instructor. She believes in learning who you are and what your body needs to realize your fitness goals. Rachel takes pride in creating diverse exercise programs to fit each of her clients’ individual needs, using a variety of methods and techniques to help achieve their goals. She can often be overheard saying to her clients, “Oh you’re gonna LOVE what I have planned for you today!” Rachel also knows as we age and change physically and mentally, our fitness goals need to evolve with us. 

Rachel likes to entertain her clients while they sweat and is always pushing for “just two more reps!” She respects that every client is looking for something different—for some, it’s a high-intensity workout while others prefer strength-training. Some need lengthening, postural work or a focus on building core strength. Whatever your unique goals, Rachel is here to accommodate and support you.  

Rachel believes in continually expanding her knowledge, learning new techniques and fun, creative ways to keep you on your toes while making your workouts safe, fun and effective. 

Outside of the gym, Rachel loves studying interior design, savoring a delicious glass of vino (yes! You can have wine too!) and hanging with her two sons, Coby and Dean.
